We want you to know how information about you is collected, used, and shared through your use of the Services. We also want you to know about the choices you have when you use the Services. Information We Collect
Personal Information. When you register to use the Services, we ask for information such as your name, email address, birthday, and gender. When you use the Services, send us an email, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. We may also obtain personal information from third parties, including without limitation, third-party service providers (“TSPs”). Personal information is information through which you can be identified such as your name, gender, email address, postal address, date of birth, and telephone number.
Payment Information. In using the Services you may license digital media authored by other users, and/or have digital media that you have authored licensed by other users. For your payment of license fees, we may collect payment information, such as, credit card account number, expiration date, and security code, billing address, and/or account information for digital payment platforms (e.g., PayPal®, Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay®, Google Wallet®), and/or digital currencies (e.g., Bitcoin). For payment of license fees to you, we may collect payment information, such as, bank routing number, and bank account number, and/or account information for digital payment platforms (e.g., PayPal®, Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay®, Google Wallet®), and/or digital currencies (e.g., Bitcoin).
Digital Media Information. We obtain digital media information through your use of the Services. When you upload digital media, which includes, without limitation, text, audio, images and videos, we may collect metadata associated with the digital media including, without limitation, content of the digital media, descriptive information, and the date and time of when, and location of where the digital media was created and/or uploaded. We may also collect any other information that you provide using the Services, such as digital image tags or comments to digital media.
Device and Browser Information. We may use web beacons, cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) in the Services (and in unaffiliated web-sites and/or applications that contain digital media which has been uploaded using the Services) to collect information about you, your online behavior, your computer, and your mobile device. Such information may include, without limitation, the type of browser and operating system you are using, type of device, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your geographic location, the pages you visit, how long you visit each page, the digital media you review, the unique number assigned to your server or Internet connection, links you click, and categories of search terms you enter. At this time, we do not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include “do not track” instructions. You can change some of your privacy preferences through your browser. For example, depending on the browser you use, you can delete browser cookies from your computer or set your browser to reject browser cookies. However, doing so may limit some functionalities of the Services. Also, blocking or deleting browser cookies may not block or delete other types of cookies including flash cookies. Use of Information We Collect
Although you allow us to use the information we collect, you own all of your information. The information we collect is used to improve the content and functionality of the Services and the quality of the experience provided by the Services. For example, in addition to helping other users of the Services discover things that you do and share through the Services, we may use the information we collect to enhance the safety and security of the Services, to protect the rights or property of Common Edits or others, to make suggestions to you and other users of the Services, and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research and service improvement.
We store data as needed to provide products and services to you and other users. In instances where data is received from a TSP, we store the data for as long as permitted by the TSP, from which the data was received. Information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted.
How to Opt-Out
If you do not want personal information that we collect about you to be used for our own marketing purposes or to be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes, you can opt‑out of such use and sharing by clicking here. If you do want us to use or share information collected through Tracking Technologies for interest-based advertising, click here. Please note that even if you opt-out, we may still use or share the information we collect for non-marketing purposes such as fulfilling your requests and responding to your inquiries.

Your California Privacy Rights
California law requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California residents asking about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Alternately, such businesses may adopt a policy of not disclosing personal information to third parties for marketing purposes if a California resident has opted-out of such information-sharing. Information Collected by Third Parties
Some content provided through the Services may be provided from third parties, such as TSPs, who may obtain personal information from you. We are not responsible for the information collection or privacy practices of such third parties. Therefore, you should review their privacy practices carefully before participating or providing personal information to such third parties.

Access to Personal Information
You may access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your personal information which is in our custody and control by emailing us at LINK. We may request certain personal information from you for the purposes of verifying your identity. However, if you post information to the Services, such as digital media or comments, you may not be able to change or remove it.
Deleting your account
If you want to stop using the Services, you can delete your account, which results in your account being permanently deleted from the Services. After requesting that your account be deleted, it may take a few weeks to a month before your account is fully deleted. Some information may remain in backup copies and logs for a longer period of time. To delete your account click here: LINK.
Certain information is needed to provide the Services to you, and this information is only deleted after you delete your account. Some of the information resulting from your use of the Services is not stored in your account. For example, if you share content with other users through the Services, the content may still be available to the other users. Consequently, that information remains after your account has been deleted.
What about continued payments for user’s work purchased by other users after account deletion? Will payment information still be retained to facilitate payments? What about the user’s content after they delete their account? Is it still available on Common Edits? It likely would be in some form (e.g., integrated as part of a subsequent work of another user).
We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of personal information in our custody or control. However, we cannot guarantee that these safeguards will prevent the unauthorized access, use or disclosure of your personal information.
Persons Under 13
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with any personally identifiable information, we will delete such information and the child’s account.
